"Puppy-Dog Eyes and Cha-Cha Dancing"
Puppy-dog eyes and cha-cha dancing, you might wonder what they could POSSIBLY have in common. Worlds. (And no, I DON'T mean that puppies secretly dance the cha-cha)My story starts a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.......There once was a boy who had a heart of goild. Kind and Valiant he raised the bar for the entire male gender. Now this boy (Let's call him arthyr) was not only a good PERSON, but good-looking as well. You WOULD think that Arthur would be foever surrounded by women, but, miraculously enough, he was not. You see, Arthur had a knack for hitting on only girls who were TOTALLY and compleatly unintrested in him, and when other girls heard his cheesy pick-up lines and witnessed his total rejection, they went looking somewhere else. Still, being the fairly dense male that he is, er I mean WAS, he didn't seem to realize this. Poor Arthur. Well, one day Arthur befriended Maggie, a stunningly beautiful, well loved, generally perfect young woman. (yeah right!)Well, the more Arthur and Maggie got to know each other, the more Maggie liked Arthur. She liked himnot only for his undeniable looks, puppy-dog eyes that look into you forever, and knock-em-dead smile, but for his kind heart too.
HOWEVER, Arthur was too busy persuing Nancy and Hellene to notice Maggie or think of her as anything but a "little sister". So, their sadly tragic lives went on. And every day when Maggie would watch Nancy or Hellene rip out Arthur's heart, attached to his puppy-dog eyes, and dance the Cha-Cha on it, she would silently cry for him.
Chapter Two
When Arthur finally DID get a clue about Maggie's affection for him he became very frightened of her and never talked to her again unless he had to. The End
Hehe, if you hadn't figured it out allready, I'm Maggie (even though I'm not stunningly beautiful, well loved, or generally a perfect young woman, but YOU don't know that so what do you care?) I have however become resigned to the fact that "Arthur" doesn't like me. At all. In fact, I think I seriously annoy him. But, life goes on, and so do my fleeting crushes, and hey, there's a lot more to life than boyfriends! Hehe, enough whining for one sitting. Have a good rest of your day!
