Dreamy Dreamer

When I woke up this morning, I was able to remember bits of two dreams from the night before.

Dream number one was a Dawsons Creek-esque dream in which Paul and I were dorm-mates, and hanging out one night before finals. I believe there was some running around and balancing on crumbly brick walls at all hours of the night. There were also two other girls, champaign in a living room, and some clichd lighting. We definitely stayed up until dawn. There was being faux-wise and running around and being irresponsible but in a very wholesome way.

Dream number two may have also featured Greg and Paul, though Im not sure. What I AM sure of is that it featured zombie porn. In the dream I was both watching a zombie-porn movie with some guy friends (who may have just been boys I am friends with or dream Greg-Paul boys, Im not too sure). That situation was one of the Giggle, giggle oh my GAWD I cant believe youre making me WATCH this variety. I reacted much as I would react to being forced to watch weird porn in real life. However, Im pretty sure that the guy friends and I were also characters IN this porn movie; we were kind of like Scooby and the Gang investigating a haunted house with some flesh-peeling zombies only we were forever stumbling across pornographic scenes. Zombies, a haunted house, and these zombie-ghost-succubus/incubus type characters it was marginally scary.

Now, everyone knows that dreams are weird so theres nothing abnormal about me having a few weird dreams in one night. However, these dreams were exceptionally abnormal for me.

(1)I am rarely a character in my own dreams. To have been an active character in not one but two dreams is psychologically significant on some level or another.
(2)When I dream about things which scare me (zombies/ghosts/haunted houses) its usually in a way which absolutely terrifies me. Several times over the summer I had dreams with a scary movie format so thats nothing new. Those dreams, however, were horrifying and left me scared for days. My zombie-porn movie adventure shouldve been scarier to me than it was.
(3)I never dream about sex. Never. ESPECIALLY not sex and me, even in a weird pornographic setting.
(4) I actually dont usually dream about ghouls either. If theres something scary in a dream, it is, more often than not, unseen. One time I dreamt of a horrifying house that was slowly killing us all, and I used to have a recurring nightmare about a witch but I dont know what those scary beasties looked like, their terror was just sort of ever-present. These zombies had peeling flesh, except when they were taking on their ghost-like sex power, in which case they were porn stars. Hot porn stars.
(5)I awoke with sensory memories from both dreams. Granted, they were all tactile memories I possessed before these dreams, but I cant remember a dream ever triggering tactile memories before.
(6)Even that Dawsons Creek-y dream wasnt a very good fit for the way dreams of mine usually play out. Dream Meg was too much like Real Meg.

Sooo weird.
