The Pointer Sisters' "Jump (For My Love)" appears to be the theme song of this exam period. It's already gotten me though a monster-paper-of-death and promisies to get me through my American Studies paper as well.

It's funny because, for past American Studies papers, I've found myself unable to write without listening to rap or hip hop. The theme of our seminar is: Race and Performance. I am a horrible person, deep inside.
