I love the way Michael has to stand on his toes to kiss David. I love Brian's aggressive nature - though I hate that Michael will never give him up. I love Justin's corruption. I love the slightly-harder-than-soft-core-porn that is Queer as Folk and I love Corelyn for introducing me to my latest addiction.

We rationalize away our doubts by saying "well, of COURSE it's not an accurate representation of the gay community - but, we like the story lines. The story is compelling."

This may be true, but I think the dirty truth is that, as far as season one is concerned: we're just in it for the porn.
